Sea Spirit House's 7-mile long beach is suitable for walking, jogging, horseback riding, bicycling and much, much more. The best part is the beach is only a few feet out your back door, across the natural sea grass garden and all this from the privacy of your own spacious room.  Bird watching, whale migration, storm watching, otter, seals and deer are all within view. As you drive north, you have several state parks on your right and stupendous vistas of the Pacific on your left. Though Cannon Beach is a favorite destination for restaurants and entertainment, I like artsy Yachats, with its excellent restaurants and sophisticated atmosphere at low cost.

There is so much to experience while staying at Sea Sprit House.  The local area is well known for antiquing, art galleries, fishing and crabbing, gourmet dining and, of course, the beautiful Oregon National and State Parks.  We are close to anything you may want to experience from hiking to lighthouses, clam digging to wine tasting, beach fires to kayaking…you only have to ask and we’ll help you design your vacation with us.   Explore the Sea Lion Caves, Newport Aquarium, Yaquina Head and Heceta Head Lighthouses or take a sand rail ride at the Oregon Sand Dunes.  The Newport Bay Front and Historic Nye Beach are less than thirty minutes away and if you’re feeling lucky, one of Oregon’s most popular Casinos, Chinook Winds, is less than an hour away!
